Vienna BioCenter Technology Day

The event will bring together core facilities and scientists from various institutions in and around Vienna to facilitate mutual introductions, exchanges of ideas and new collaborative beginnings. The event would enable facilities on campus to learn about:

• Researchers and projects outside of their current areas of familiarity
• Other core facilities providing comparable services
• Niche areas with unfulfilled needs

The event would enable researchers (on campus and beyond) to learn about:

• Portfolios of campus core facilities
• Additional services that they could access
• Correlative multimodal that might not have been previously possible

The day will consist of exhibitors’ booths (core facilities and services), presentations and interactions between core facility providers and scientific researchers interested in their services. The event is proposed to be interactive wherein attendees will be able to visit (authorized) VBC core facilities, to see the actual infrastructure and resources that would enable them to pursue cutting edge science.
